Our new digital application ToolSelect is now available for turning and grooving applications for all internal colleagues. Based on component drawings or technical input, ToolSelect generates complete machining solutions quickly and efficiently.

Two possible entry scenarios to get the customised solution:

1. Manual input:
Data and dimensions from the component drawing are entered in the input mask and transferred to an interactive drawing.

2. Drawing upload:
An existing component drawing can be uploaded here to minimise manual input and ToolSelect reads it automatically. Based on the parameters, the perfect tool solution for the entire component is determined in just a few seconds. The first release of ToolSelect already includes this very newly developed function in a beta version for turning and grooving and can therefore be tested internally right from the start.

The highest possible metal removal rate or the most cost-effective solution? The in-built sorting function allows the user to decide what is currently most important to them and the most suitable solutions are determined.

You can use the filter function to filter and display only individual applications. This becomes more interesting the more complex a component is. This allows the user to concentrate only on the applications that are relevant to them.

The component can be saved in the profile using the save function and several colleagues or later customers can access the component with solutions using the share function.

For questions such as why the solution proposed by ToolSelect is the best, we have hired the digital assistant Manfred. In the first version, he already provides answers and brief explanations for the most important questions. In subsequent versions, he will also offer our customers the opportunity to get in touch with a CERATIZIT contact person quickly.

ToolSelect is now available as an internal but directly functioning version in our online shop. This internal roll-out is a so-called MVP, a minimal viable product. This means that it is an initial but functional version of a product that is continuously developed further based on user feedback.

We would therefore be delighted if you actively work with ToolSelect at the customer's premises, test it, identify potential for improvement and report back to us. Your feedback is very important to us because you should enjoy working with ToolSelect and it should make your everyday life easier.
