S-Cut UNImax milling cutters win an AMB Award 2024

At the exhibition AMB 2024 in Stuttgart, CERATIZIT once again scored with an innovative tool solution and won the AMB Award 2024 in the Sustainability category.

During AMB 2024 (September 10 – 14, 2024), the AMB Awards were presented for the first time by the Landesmesse Stuttgart. The award recognized outstanding products from exhibitors at AMB, which were particularly highlighted by the award. The evaluation of the nominated products was carried out by a panel of experts consisting of representatives from professional associations and scientific representatives. Various criteria were considered, including technological innovation, economic efficiency, and energy and resource efficiency.

In the sustainability category, the jury ultimately chose our solid carbide milling cutters S-Cut UNImax, which perfectly balance sustainability and performance. The S-Cut UNImax cutters are made of 99% recycled carbide and feature the latest performance coatings and sophisticated geometries. These versatile cutters are suitable for a wide range of machining processes and materials, made from our most currently sustainable carbide grade, the upGRADE grade CT-GS20Y, thus conserving valuable raw materials.
