MaxiMill – HFCD: High-feed milling and copy milling in one powerful tool

We are delighted to present our latest high-feed milling system with double-sided indexable inserts: MaxiMill – HFCD. This innovative system offers maximum stability and performance. ​

With a broader portfolio and a wide range of applications, the system performs superbly as a powerful high-feed milling cutter up to ap = 1.0 mm and a reliable copy milling cutter up to ap = 2.0 mm. Thanks to the new design, MaxiMill HFCD is even suitable for lower-performance machines.

The high-feed face and form milling of steel, stainless steel, cast iron and heat-resistant alloys is no problem with MaxiMill HFC. The indexable inserts used are equipped with four cutting edges, and the powerful yet flexible system is available in the following diameter ranges: 16–42 mm, 16–35 mm, 32–160 mm.

Maximum feeds and excellent material removal rates with MaxiMill – HFC

The MaxiMill – HFC high-feed milling system is primarily used in applications where a high chip volume and maximum process security are essential. No wonder, when it can achieve phenomenal material removal rates thanks to a width of cut of ap 3.3 mm and maximum feeds per tooth. With their patented, rectangular geometry, large radius and nickel-plated tool holders, the MaxiMill indexable inserts offer high rigidity and soft cutting capability. The stable contact surfaces ensure effective force transmission and minimal vibrations.
