QUESTIONS ABOUT REGISTRATION/LOGIN

I am not yet a customer of CERATIZIT and would like to order online in the Team Cutting Tools Shop. How can I register?

As a new customer, you will need a new customer account to activate your access to the Team Cutting Tools Shop. Please use the registration form for new customers.

I am an existing customer or former customer of CERATIZIT | KOMET | WNT | KLENK but have never used the online shop before. Do I need to register?
You already have a customer account with us and just need to activate it. Please send us an activation request for the Team Cutting Tools Shop. After sending your request, we will check your details and generally email you your login details within one working day.

I have just registered or sent an activation request for the Team Cutting Tools Shop. How soon will my customer account be activated?
If you are already a customer, your account will generally be activated within one working day after which you can place your order using the Team Cutting Tools Shop. For new customers, the data first needs to be checked. This can take up to three working days.

I currently use or have previously used a CERATIZIT | KOMET | WNT | KLENK shop. Can I use my old login details to login to the Team Cutting Tools Shop?
No, you cannot use your existing login details for other CERATIZIT | KOMET | WNT | KLENK online shops. You will need new login details to login to the Team Cutting Tools Shop. You do not have to create a new customer account. Existing shop users automatically receive new login details for the Team Cutting Tools Shop via email. If you did not receive an email or the login data are not longer available, please use the Forgotten password function. If you cannot reset your password, please contact the Customer Service Centre. You can find the contact details at the top of the page.

I have forgotten my password. What shall I do?
Please go to Forgotten password in the menu to reset your password. To do this, all you need is your email address that you used to register. If you cannot remember which email address you used, simply get in touch with our Customer Service Centre. You can find the contact details at the top of the page.

QUESTIONS ABOUT USE

Can multiple employees of a company use the online shop?
Every employee who is authorised to place orders or enter order requests has their own personalised login for the shop. However, purchase orders need to be approved by an employee who is authorised to place orders.

Is it possible to specify more than one delivery address?
When placing an order, simply go to the basket to add a delivery address or edit an existing one. Simply click on the ‘Edit’ button to update an existing address or on the plus symbol to add a new address.
If you wish to edit or add an address under My Profile | Delivery addresses, please contact our Customer Service Centre.

Is it possible to use different cost centres?
You can specify a different cost centre per order and per item. This information will then be included on the receipts.

QUESTIONS ABOUT ORDERING

How does the shopping list work?
You have to be logged in to use the shopping list. When you are on an article page, you can add the item to your shopping list simply by clicking on the ‘Add to shopping list’ button. Here you can create a new shopping list or save the article to an existing shopping list. If you go to ‘Shopping lists’ in the menu, you can add the article to your basket with just one click.

How do I place an order or request a quote?
First you need to add all the articles you want to the basket. Then you can decide whether to place an order or request a quote.
Any quotes we provide will appear in your account.

Can I also view my orders that I did not submit via the online shop?
Whether they were made by phone, in person or via the online shop, all the orders you have ever placed with us will appear in your account under My Profile. You can check which articles you have ordered at any time and download the corresponding invoice as a PDF.

Can I also download CAD data?
In line with the applicable standard for cutting tool data (ISO 13399), our tool models are available in the online shop in all standard formats, including DXF, STL, STEP and PDF.

How do I cancel an order I have made accidentally?
All you need to do to cancel an order is give our Customer Service Centre a call.

Will I still receive personal consultation despite ordering in the online shop?
We still provide our personalised service, even when you order through our online shop. Our skilled in-house and field technicians are still available to provide you with help and advice on any technical matters or other questions you may have.

Can I also enter articles directly to the basket?
Yes, that is possible. Simply go to the basket. There you will find a field labelled ‘Direct purchase using article number’. Enter the article numbers into this field as follows:

The articles will be listed automatically and can be added to your basket or shopping list with just one click.

QUESTIONS ABOUT DELIVERY

How quickly will my products be delivered?
As you know, 99% of our tools are ready to ship and if you order by 6:30 p.m. they will be with you the next working day. If we do not have an article you want in stock, the estimated delivery time will be shown in the basket.

Do you offer express delivery?
As with orders made over the phone, express delivery is also available for online orders. If you order by 6:30 p.m. and select express delivery, you will receive your order no later than 12:00 p.m. on the next working day.(A selection of UK postcodes are excluded from this).

QUESTIONS ABOUT SECURITY

How secure is my personal data?
In order to guarantee the utmost data security, we use the Secure Sockets Layer software (SSL). The SSL encryption prevents a third party from gaining access to your data during the order process. In addition, we are constantly working to improve security measures.

How does CERATIZIT handle my data?
Protecting your privacy is extremely important to us, which is why we have extremely high security standards in place to protect any data you entrust to us. We handle the data you provide responsibly and use it exclusively for the purposes of the business transaction and to improve our service. What are cookies and how does CERATIZIT use them?
Cookies are specific identification codes that we send to the hard drive of your computer or other terminals so that our systems can recognise your devices.
