It’s now six months since we launched CERATIZIT – It’s Tool Time!, our prime-time show all about CERATIZIT cutting tool technology. On 17 June 2021, we came back with a brand new edition, with the same winning formula of information, entertainment and interaction that will hopefully have machining professionals glued to their screens.
What do you do when you’ve got lots of exciting company news and new customer services, but one after another your key industry events fall victim to cancellations? The answer: you think outside the box, look beyond your usual channels and find other ways to reach out to your customers. “In 2020, faced with exactly these challenges, we launched CERATIZIT – It’s Tool Time! and brought a brand new format to our sector– a B2B infotainment show all about cutting tools,” explains Thierry Wolter, Member of the Board for the CERATIZIT Group. “We were always confident in the success of our idea – a 75-minute main show and two 30-minute Insight programmes – but we were blown away by how well it was received.
Just like last time, we wanted to give viewers a good overview of our latest innovations – from our new tools and our new services. We’ve done quite a bit of work to improve our services to make our customers’ working day that bit easier,” explains Andreas Kordwig. That’s why there’ll be the chance to hear from CERATIZIT customers as well as experts from the different business units.
We didn't want the main show to overrun, so CERATIZIT – It’s Tool Time was followed by four Insights programmes where CERATIZIT’s experts talked about their ongoing development work and latest services. They talked about the revolutionary High Dynamic Turning, the latest FreeTurn tools, LiveTechPro – our new live-stream remote support service – some extraordinary aluminium bikes and project engineering for the aviation industry.
The show was intended to inform but also entertain at the same time. The main actors were the cutting tools, but the audience was also offered many interesting insights behind the scenes. For example, the show went live to Paris for the opening of the new Innovation Centre, where the innovative turning technology High Dynamic Turning and the FreeTurn tools will be further developed in the future.
