CERATIZIT presents trendsetting tools and digital solutions at AMB 2024

Anyone who has to machine constantly changing materials efficiently needs milling cutters that can be used as universally as possible. In order to do this sustainably, we have developed the solid carbide milling cutter S-Cut as a new, independent product line made from the sustainable carbide upGRADE. The S-Cut combines the unlimited performance of an all-round high-performance milling cutter with our currently most sustainable carbide substrate, CT-CS20Y. This gives our customers an economic and ecological advantage thanks to the certified CO2 footprint in the form of a low product carbon footprint (PCF).

You can experience in numerous live demos that the S-Cut fulfils its promise and delivers top performance. Together with the MaxiMill - 211-DC, the KUB Pentron and the AluLine CCR, it will produce something very special from aluminium: To mark the 30th anniversary of CERATIZIT's successful EcoCut line, we will be producing an oversized indexable insert made of aluminium on site.

Digital services have been an integral part of our portfolio for many years, such as the CERAsmart ToolScope monitoring and control system. This permanently records the signals generated by the cutting machine during the production process, visualises this data and thus provides important information for process control, machine protection and documentation. In order to utilise the data generated during the process in a meaningful way for the machinist, it is analysed, processed and made available to the user in the CERAsmart Cockpit. You can also experience live what sophisticated automation solutions can look like: We will be demonstrating the R-C2 workpiece automation system as a solution between pallet automation and direct robot loading. This means you achieve less set-up work and a significant increase in flexibility.

Machining can also create motorised works of art: A motorbike with an extravagant cyberpunk look and exhilarating performance, manufactured by the SBAY Motor Company from San Roque in Spain, will be on display at AMB. Many of the components are specially designed and manufactured - using our high-performance tools. At our stand, we will be happy to show how SBAY transforms the most unusual wishes of custom bike fans into individual motorbikes with the necessary performance boost.

We are particularly pleased to announce that the well known TikTok influencer Sven Daniel will be available for discussions at our stand for the entire duration of the trade fair. Sven will have his new book with him, which he will be presenting exclusively at our stand. You will have the opportunity to talk to him about the current challenges within the machining industry and to secure your personal copy of the new book.
