CERATIZIT extends Bennetts British Superbike partnership and celebrates Women in the Sport on International Women’s Day

The Bennetts British Superbike Championship has extended its long-standing partnership with the CERATIZIT Group into a sixth consecutive season, further expanding its association with an all-new Women’s Trophy to highlight the female representation in the sport.

CERATIZIT, the cutting tools and hard materials specialist, has been a familiar brand within the series, working together with Britain’s biggest motorsport series to deliver customer experiences and brand representation through trackside branding.

The synergy between the CERATIZIT brand and the teamwork required to deliver a British Championship is celebrated with the titled Team’s Trophy Award, presented to the winning team in both the Superbike and Supersport class and the end of the championship season.

In addition to the recognition for teamwork, CERATIZIT will now also draw parallels with its existing sponsorship of the CERATIZIT WNT Pro Cycling Team, which features competitors including multiple Olympic, world and European champion, UK rider Katie Archibald, with a new award.

The CERATIZIT Women’s Trophy will be presented to the rider who can deliver the strongest performance across qualifying and races during the season, adding another dimension to the competition.

CERATIZIT UK and Ireland Managing Director Tony Pennington said: “I am delighted that we will continue our partnership with the Bennetts British Superbike Championship this year. We have been involved with the series for several seasons and after having been involved in supporting female riders within the sport since 2014, we cannot wait for the addition of the Women’s Trophy.”

Bennetts British Superbike Championship Series Director Stuart Higgs commented: “It is positive news that we have extended our established partnership with CERATIZIT into the 2022 season.

“The CERATIZIT Team’s Trophy remains one of the accolades that our teams are targeting when they start to the season, and I am delighted that together we have the new additions of the Women’s Trophy to recognise the achievements of our female competitors too.”
